Empower Dreams, Transform Lives:
Give Hope to Filipino Amerasian Children Today!

Filipino Amerasians, the biracial children of Filipino mothers and American fathers (often members of the US military), face a harsh reality. Abandoned by their fathers and living in poverty, these children lack access to education and basic medical care. Despite their significant numbers, ranging from 50,000 to 250,000, they are excluded from the Amerasian Act of 1982, leaving them marginalized in their own country.

Investing in the education and well-being of Filipino Amerasian children is an investment in the future of the country. By breaking the cycle of generational poverty, these children can become contributors to society, fostering progress and hope for a brighter future.

The Philippine American Guardian Association (PAGA) stands as a beacon of hope for Filipino Amerasian children. Through financial support, PAGA enables these children to attend school. Beyond education, PAGA implements a comprehensive program, including home visits, workshops, and summer camps. This holistic approach focuses on education, healthcare, social protection, psychological development, and opportunities for economic productivity for both graduates and their families.

Our Promise

PAGA’s commitment goes beyond education. Beneficiaries not only gain access to schooling but also receive essential support in healthcare, personality development, counseling, crisis situations, and potential reconnection with their families. PAGA’s proven track record demonstrates its effectiveness in liberating these children from the cycle of generational poverty.

With accreditation from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), PAGA stands out as a reputable and trustworthy nonprofit organization. For over 100 years, PAGA has positively impacted thousands of children, helping them complete their education and find meaningful employment.
